"I love looking out the window at people passing by on the street below, the view is great. This is our 3rd time in Room 2 and we like it. We walked to the concert at the park last night for the live music and then on to the Silver Creek Brew Pub for their sampler of beers. Families, kids, old people, everyone walking through the downtown made you feel like the old days when people got together for simple things."

Room History
One of the original rooms on the 2nd floor, Room 2 faces the main street. During the restoration most of the plaster walls were able to be saved. The woodwork and the door are authentic to the building. In the late1800's this room would have been a favorite with great views of the street and the stagecoach arrivals. As the stagecoach arrived, luggage would be pulled inside the second floor through the window since the stairs were too narrow for the guests trunks. Today the room includes an antique wardrobe, a wingback for reading, and a queen bed.
