Guest Memories
"We came to the Stagecoach Inn with our friends of 30 years. Room 10 works out great for the four
of us to get together in the large sitting room and play cards and share some laughs and a
glass of wine. They are staying in Room 4 and this larger room works great on the first floor.
The ceilings are really unique with the tamarack beams. Of course the most interesting challenge is
counting the "girl and the bird" paintings. Who knows how many there really are! Good friends,
wonderful innkeepers and a main street worth exploring. Until next time."

Room History
The Inn was built in 1853 and had two owners before the Brown's bought it in 1983. The first floor room was
once the kitchen area and also served as the dining room. There was a door which connected into the pub so
guests could be served in both areas. An original photo above the twin bed shows the dining room in the
1900's. A special point of interest is the tamarack ceiling. It was uncovered after removing 3 layers of
false ceilings. The unique four poster bed was purchased at an auction and dates back to 1865.
The Girl & the Bird photo is also something fun to look for while staying in Room 10.
